Student Comment Receives Burton Award

Please join GMLR in congratulating MJ Egan on receiving the Burton Awards’ “Distinguished Legal Writing” Award. The Burton Awards select pieces that  “demonstrated creativity, knowledge, and know-how” in legal writing. Her comment was one of 15 law student pieces selected for this great honor. 

MJ is an associate editor of the George Mason Law Review. Her award-winning comment, When Does “Currently” Using No Longer Apply? The Americans with Disabilities Act, the Opioid Crisis, & the Search for a Solution, will appear in Volume 27, Issue 1.
