Meet George Mason Law Review’s new Editor in Chief, John Michelli!
John grew up primarily in Virginia and received his bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. After college, John worked in a couple of schools and spent time in the restaurant industry. He joined the U.S. Coast Guard in his late twenties and spent six years in the Coast Guard before coming to law school.
In his new role as EIC of the George Mason Law Review, John is excited to work with the Board and achieve the goals he has set for himself and the Board. He believes that leadership roles are professional growth points, and he is excited to challenge himself in this role.
John is interested in practicing criminal law. He hopes to work as a law clerk and then work for the DOJ Attorney General’s Honors Program after graduation. He is looking forward to interning at the DOJ in the Civil Rights Division, Criminal Section this coming summer.
